I am, at this very moment, installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 onto my computer. I AM SO EXCITED. For the past ten years I have been using an outdated program that came free with a scanner my family bought at the time. I have wanted Photoshop for so long and I finally received it for my birthday a week ago! I don't know why it took me a week to install it. I think I am nervous about the magic it contains! I AM SO EXCITED.

As some of you may know, I recently had a birthday, my 23rd. The lovely wonderful significant other in my life gave me my first tripod, along with a remote shutter...clicker...thing. I've been strongly interested in exploring landscapes for a while now, but haven't had the tools to really do it successfully. Naturally, without these tools, my landscape photos almost never came remotely close to what I saw with my eyes. However, now I am one step further in expanding my photography, and I couldn't be more excited! The tripod is light enough for me to tote almost anywhere, and I hope to go exploring for more beautiful places to photograph soon

Something very exciting happened over the weekend... A wedding! No, not mine. My younger cousin got married on Saturday! Furthermore, I was very honored that she asked me to be her wedding photographer. It was my first time shooting a wedding. I was quite nervous before the event, but as the ceremony got rolling, I grew more confident. I ended up having a great time! The photos look great and I can't wait to edit them and get them back to her, as well as upload them here! I hope she and her husband will be very happy together!
